EuroDataes

They asked me to run their social media. The actual problem was an office full of empty desks they were paying for — and a website they did not control.

01 — How it started

I met the client by chance in a specialty coffee shop in Madrid. They were opening a coworking and business space near Plaza Castilla, at Calle Rosario Pino 5, and they wanted someone to manage their social media.

Then I met the business partner, and the conversation changed. EuroDataes is an IT, accounting and financial services firm. They had just signed a lease on an office with multiple workstations, and those desks needed to generate revenue to recover the investment.

Nobody had asked for a website. But social media was not going to fill those desks.

The decision
I proposed the website instead of the social media they came for — because the money was in the desks, and the website was what people would find when they went looking.
02 — What I found underneath

The second problem surfaced as soon as I asked for access. The existing website was sitting on a programmer’s own server, under the programmer’s control, and the business had no real access to any of it.

That is not a website problem. That is a business risk. A company whose digital presence lives on someone else’s infrastructure cannot change, move, measure or protect it.

So the first deliverable was not a page. It was ownership.

03 — What I did

I moved the business onto infrastructure it controls, and then rebuilt the digital environment on top of it.

04 — What happened

The site went live in January 2026. What matters commercially is not the launch — it is that the asset kept working afterwards, without a content programme behind it.

Google Analytics 4, 1 January – 11 September 2026. No paid advertising ran in this period — all traffic reported here is organic, direct or referral. Visitors have also arrived through the Google Business Profile. These figures describe how the asset has performed; they are not a claim that any single action caused them.

05 — Where it went next

The engagement later extended into a new Investing section covering the client’s SIL investment product: a main Investing page plus Information, Portfolio and a BME & CNMV section, with navigation, specialised financial copy, keyword research, metadata, URLs, heading hierarchy and a contact CTA. Proposed at €680 including VAT.

Roughly half of that scope was executed. The client did not have the time to continue, and I would rather say that plainly than let a proposal read as a delivery. The part that shipped is live; the rest is scoped and waiting.

06 — What this proves

I was not hired to build a website. I was hired to post on Instagram.

What the engagement actually required was reading the business objective correctly, identifying that the binding constraint was infrastructure the client did not own, fixing that first, and only then building the thing that would bring people in. That sequence — diagnosis, then ownership, then delivery — is the work.
