Strategic advisory · Working alongside another specialist

Someone else builds this website. I decide what it needs to do. Three advisory sessions so far, and it is still in progress — which is why there are no numbers on this page.

01 — The problem

Ale is a professional photographer with a real portfolio and a defined set of services. What she does not have is a reliable way to acquire session clients.

That is an acquisition problem wearing a website costume. The site looks fine. It is not bringing anyone in.

The constraint that makes this interesting
I don’t control the implementation on this one. Ale’s husband is a professional web designer and developer, and he builds it. My job is to be right about what should be built.
02 — What I advise on
03 — Where it stands

Three sessions in. The engagement is ongoing and the implementation sits with someone else, so there are no defensible quantitative results yet and I am not going to manufacture any.

What exists is a diagnosis, a prioritised plan and a specialist who can execute it.

04 — What this proves

Most of my work involves people I do not manage. This is the clean version of that: define what has to happen, hand it to someone better at the build than you are, and be useful without holding the keyboard.

Decision support, not delivery. Both matter, and they are not the same skill.
